What is Holistic Coaching? 

Beverly Sartain, the president of The Holistic Coach Training Institute, shared the definition of holistic coaching ''The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.'' 

Holistic coaching is a transformative approach that focuses on the overall well-being of a person, addressing all aspects of life—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. It goes beyond traditional coaching methods by recognizing the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit to achieve optimal health and well-being. It recognizes that all aspects of our being are interconnected and influence each other, making it essential to address them as a whole rather than as separate entities. 

 

The idea behind holistic coaching is that you can't achieve true happiness and fulfilment by concentrating solely on one aspect of life. Often, we may excel in our careers but struggle with personal relationships or have excellent physical health but lack emotional well-being. This imbalance can cause dissatisfaction and hinder our personal growth. 

 

At its core, holistic coaching aims to guide individuals towards achieving balance and alignment.
